Editorial policy
Rising Weekly Briefing aims to be clear about what it knows, what it interprets and what needs correction. We handle objects and their stories with care, and make the basis of our editorial choices visible.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources and take care with names, dates, materials and descriptions of processes. When a point is uncertain or interpretations differ, we say so rather than presenting one reading as settled fact. Our articles are for general interest, not professional advice.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Paid or partner material is clearly labelled as such, and partner placements are distinguished from editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable treatment or editorial inclusion.
Corrections and illustrations
We review reports of errors and correct material when a change is warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when they are, they are labelled. Illustrations should not be read as evidence of an object's exact appearance or construction.
